Before Your Ear Scan
Most OroSonus Core earpieces begin with a comfortable digital 3D ear scan.
Before scanning, we examine your ears to make sure the ear canal is appropriate for the procedure. Please contact us before your appointment if you are experiencing ear pain, drainage, an active ear infection, significant irritation, or have recently undergone an ear procedure or surgery.
In some cases, a traditional ear impression may be recommended. Every ear is different, and certain ear-canal shapes or anatomical features may be better captured using a traditional silicone impression. If this is recommended, we’ll explain why and use the method that gives us the best information for your custom fit.
